Specialist UK Restorations were appointed by Wrexham Council to carry out concrete condition surveys and remedial repairs across multiple social housing properties featuring reinforced concrete window cills and roof canopies.
Following extensive testing for carbonation depth and chloride content, Specialist UK Restorations developed a comprehensive repair and protection strategy in partnership with Sika Ltd and were appointed as Principal Contractor under a two-year framework, which was extended to 6 years over the full course of the scheme.
Works utilised a full Sika system, including the Sika MonoTop® mortars, Sika Ferrogard 903+ corrosion inhibitor, and Sikagard protective coatings, ensuring long-term protection and durability across the housing portfolio.
