Specialist UK Restorations were appointed to carry out structural stabilisation works to the historic Kay Street Bridge in Ramsbottom, as part of wider refurbishment and widening works.
The project involved reinforcing the existing stone piers using Helifix SockFix Anchors, installed through precision core drilling to depths of up to 3 metres. These anchors provided essential structural support ahead of the new bridge extension.
All works were delivered safely and efficiently, helping preserve the integrity and longevity of this historic stone arch bridge spanning the River Irwell.
