Specialist UK Restorations were appointed to deliver a comprehensive structural enhancement and strengthening package to Jordan House, a 13-storey residential tower block on the Bromford Bridge estate.
External works included core drilling, CCTV surveys, and the installation of 676 Helifix SockFix anchors to stabilise the structure, supported by targeted concrete repairs and roof-level strengthening. Internally, over 250 steel angles were installed for additional reinforcement, with all fixings tested to strict engineering specifications.
Completed under a rigorous quality assurance and compliance regime, the project improved the building’s safety, durability, and long-term structural integrity, supporting Birmingham City Council’s wider housing improvement programme.
