Specialist UK Restorations were appointed to carry out a comprehensive concrete condition survey and subsequent remedial repair works to the Rendall Building at the University of Liverpool.
Following detailed investigations across all elevations and the courtyard, a Sika 10-year guaranteed specification was developed to restore and protect the structure. Works included hand-placed concrete repairs using Sika MonoTop® mortars, application of Sika FerroGard-903+ corrosion inhibitor, and Sikagard protective coatings for long-term durability.
The project was completed in full compliance with Sika’s quality standards, delivering a durable and visually improved finish that safeguards the building’s concrete surfaces for years to come.
