Specialist UK Restorations were appointed to carry out structural concrete repairs as part of the £600,000 refurbishment of the historic century-old Brinscall Swimming Pool.
Following structural assessments identifying severe deterioration to the pool’s concrete and reinforcement, Specialist UK Restorations completed hand-placed concrete repairs using Sika MonoTop® mortars, along with the installation of a Sika cathodic protection system designed by Vector Corrosion Services.
All works were delivered in accordance with the approved design and specifications, restoring the pool’s structural integrity and long-term durability while preserving this important community landmark.
